We've Added Compton Unified School District and Montachusett Opportunity Council to Our Client Roster
Recently, School Bus Logisitics added California’s Compton Unified School District and Montachusett Opportunity Council in Massachusetts to our client roster. Established in 2010, School Bus Logistics (SBL) has helped school districts optimize routing to aid in budgetary efficiencies and safe transportation of school children.
The clients will use Route Management Services, a turn-key routing solution for districts that maintains routing safely and efficiently. Through this offering, transportation departments can eliminate inefficiencies, reduce overall routes, and increase school districts’ savings—especially crucial in this time of driver shortages. By streamlining how bussing is handled, routing can function at 100%.
SBL will be handling routing for Montachusett Opportunity Council (MOC) beginning with a route optimization analysis in order to reduce overall costs for the organization. MOC helps families and individuals across the North Central region of Massachusetts by providing opportunities and resources to achieve economic stability. SBL will provide routing services, utilizing Transfinder, to help retain lower costs of transportation to those families who need it.
Compton Unified School District has been using SBL for the past two years for school startup routing. Due to their use of a bus contractor, they need routes at least two weeks prior to the start of school in order for the contractor to conduct dry runs. SBL will now be providing them with year-round service utilizing Versatrans software as well as RouteHub from SBL which streamlines communication.
SBL plans to attend several trade shows this year including the CASTO Conference. During these events, they will showcase Route Management Services which provide districts with complete turn-key routing with a focus on improving customer service to schools and families.
