With more than 20 years in the industry, Barb brings a working knowledge of driver needs as well as expertise in routing, operations, and logistics. During her time at Littleton Public Schools, she developed and oversaw routing for more than 7,500 students and 26 in-district sites as well as numerous out-of-district sites. She is well versed in the requirements of keeping bussing operating efficiently while focusing on safety and the needs of students and their families. She is highly proficient in Versatrans routing software as well as other leading routing technologies.

Rod Sturgeon – School Bus Logistics

Rod Sturgeon

Indiana

Rod has served various communities through work in the transportation industry for more than 30 years. Fourteen of those years focused on school bus transportation, logistics, and operations. During his time working with more than 130 school districts across the nation, he has handled route studies, software implementation and training, route efficiencies and management, as well as overarching support.

With more than twenty years managing large and small district-owned and contracted busing programs in New York, Douglas brings a variety of experience to the SBL team. His education and knowledge of the industry, as well as involvement with state and national organizations, make him a valuable asset to districts and the families they serve.

With more than nine years of experience in the student transportation industry, Matt brings a deep understanding of routing software to his role at SBL. He holds a B.A. in Geography from Kansas State University, with a focus on geographic information systems. He’s experienced in coordinating routing startups and implementations as well as optimizing routing software.

Kathy Cuff – School Bus Logistics

ROUTE LOGISTICS CONSULTANT

Kathy Cuff

Texas

Kathy first began driving school buses in '97 to stay busy. Soon, she discovered a passion for special needs routing and worked her way up to become a route supervisor. Kathy is experienced in managing the fast pace of school transportation and keeping up with changes and updates to maps and boundaries. She brings a keen eye for detail and planning to all that she does.

ROUTE LOGISTICS CONSULTANT

Timothy J. Micheals

Illinois

Timothy is an experienced router with 20+ years in student transportation. He was an assistant regional manager for Northern America Central School Bus, where he managed over 20 locations throughout Illinois and Indiana. He is also a certified school bus instructor and has worked in IT to provide service to more than 1,500 systems across the US, mainly in the transportation sector.
